Paying it Forward at your Business
Pay it Forward “PIF” Corporate Parties
We are inviting businesses throughout Northern Nevada and other States to have a Pay it Forward “PIF” Corporate Party.
This is an exciting way to get local businesses and employees to contribute to the PIF Snack Pack Program with very little time or effort. It’s also a fun and “feel good” team-building activity, that ‘s a great cause for the community.
After choosing a specific date, you can email your employees the program specifics and needed food items. See approved items below.
You can also post the list in the lunchroom with a sign-up sheet. Every employee chooses a specific item and purchases a box or case. Costco or Sam’s is a great place to find these. The Host/Office Manager can pick up a box of plastic grocery bags at many of the leading grocery chains or they may even donate them!
Many companies like to hold a PIF “Potluck” and set-up a Snack Pack production line after eating.
Many local Food Banks will provide all necessary supplies, like bags and boxes and even pick-up the completed Snack Packs.
People who participate in this program find that helping the less fortunate in their communities is a very worthwhile and rewarding experience and decide to hold PIF Corporate Parties once a month!
We invite local businesses who hold a PIF event, to challenge 3 other businesses to host a PIF Corporate Party of their own within 30 days. It’s fun to present this challenge to your competitors and see who can produce the most Snack Packs!
Have your own PIF Party and see how rewarding it can be. Give us a call and we will help coordinate your PIF Event with the Food Bank in your area.
See below how simple it is to host a PIF Corporate Party:
- Confirm with your Company Office Manager or PIF Event Host who should bring what food items to your luncheon / event. The Food Bank has approved the following items: entrees (such as beans and franks, ravioli or stew in pop-top cans), cereals, fruit cups, juice boxes, and shelf-stable milk boxes. You can also provide several nutritious snacks, including crackers, granola bars, trail mix, etc
- On the day of the event sort-out the food items around a large table.
- Start at one end and have everyone add one each of the food items to the plastic bags as they are passed down the line.
- That’s it! Now feel good about what you have all accomplished together.
